The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members – and IAFF members only – who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges. |

Your donation will go a long way as we continue to give back to our community in many different areas.
For over 25 years, the Huntsville Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 1833, continues to invite our special needs community to our annual Special Needs Christmas dance. This event is one that once you're involved you won't want to miss the fun that happens 1 day a year. The day is filled with delicious food, drinks, desserts, music, dancing, fellowship & everyone gets excited when SANTA arrives on the fire truck with a present for each attendee.
For over 10 years, the Huntsville Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 1833 has sold over 28,000 t-shirts with proceeds being donated to local charities (Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Russell Hill Foundation & American Cancer Society) with donations being designated to be used for North Alabama patients.
Huntsville Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 1833 enjoys interacting with the community in any way possible.
